Rules of Conduct.

ioMMO.com allows users to access this website for purposes of gathering information related to MMO games. We provide this service as a gratuity to all online gamers and therefore wish the users would not disrupt service to others. We have set guidelines for who can and who cannot use this website, and actions taken against individuals who violate our User Conduct policy.

ioMMO reserves the right to delete forum posts and ban users from this site without prior notice or explanation, all actions taken against users will be within the confines of the Terms of Service and User Agreement.

To use ioMMO.com, you must be atleast 13 years of age. Those under the age of 13 must have permission from a parent / guardian to gain access. Due to the nature of an online community, ioMMO.com will not be held liable for users who access it's services.

ioMMO is intended for speakers of the English language. If you cannot speak English, then you cannot read the rules. If you cannot read the rules, then you cannot understand what is expected of you when you join. If you speak English as an alternate language, please make sure that you understand the rules before using ioMMO.com.

General Conduct

• Racism will "NOT" be tolerated on any level. Any users found breaking this rule will have their account terminated immediately. This is your only warning.
• Foul Language, it's a nuisance. It's disrespectful to others, and causes wrong impressions when you're conversing with a member. If you feel the need to let loose language that's inappropriate for the forums, Click Here to be brought to the forum topic and request permission to unlock the foul language board.
• No member or guest of the site may violate the rights of others in any form or manner, whether it be implied or direct. You may not harass, threaten, cause destress, or defraud members. All members have the right to comfort on ioMMO, and therefore no member may bring unto any member unwanted attention.
• No member should be subjected to harmful, sexually explicit, threatening, abusive, obscene, defamatory, hateful, racially, or ethnically abusive treatment.
• No member will be part of, or a member of any pledges, groups, or organizations, or organize themselves any groups that are based on, or expouse any racism, discriminations based on religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation or other hate mongering philosophies. All associated accounts that participate in these activities will be blocked, banned, or deleted.
• Members may "NOT" communicate personal identifying information whether it belongs to them or not. Everyone has the right to privacy, and administration will "NEVER" ask for personal identifying information. If you need to share information, do it elsewhere such as MSN or some other manner of contact. Feel free to share messenger addresses and other discrete information that doesn't identify who you are. To be brief, "DO NOT" share your mailing address, home address, phone numbers, and so on. ioMMO will not be held liable for members who share their information with strangers.
• Impersonation of any persons including, but not limited to other members, employees, representatives or any person affiliated with ioMMO will not be tolerated.
• Members may not advertise, market or promote anything, or make any other manner of solicitation on the site. Members may advertise their guilds, guild sites, websites, social networking sites, fan sites, and so on in designated areas of the site and forums. Advertising any of the above is subjected to approval and may be removed at any time, with or without notice. We expect members to use common sense on what is, and what isn't allowed. If you're unsure, ask first using either the Contact Us form or asking on the Service Forums.
• No member should violate any local, state, national or international laws.
• Members are "NOT" permitted to use ioMMO's website for purposes pertaining to, but not limited to: The exchange / transfer of any pirated software or contraband, share files that are infringing on someone's intellectual copyrights, trademarks, and so on, use the site for exchanging links directing members to these illegal pirate sites, or use the site for any other illegal purposes.
• Members may "NOT" transmit or upload any copyrighted content without the expressed prior written permission from the copyright holder / author.
• Members may only use the site for what is expressed permissible. Any other acts that are in question should be brought to the attention of the ioMMO team.
• We expect all members to use common sense when following the rules.

Forum Conduct
The rules apply to both, Community and Service forums. The forums provide members a way to communicate and keep in touch with one another. The setting of the forums are intended for "Online Gaming" and it should be understood that any posts that are irrelevant to the setting may be deleted without prior warning. There are areas on the forums for irrelevant information. Please stick to those areas when not conversing about online games. General guidelines are as follows.

• All members are expected to read and understand the forum guidelines.
• Flaming on any level will not be tolerated. Flaming is defined as hostile and insulting interaction between internet users.
• Spam is annoying. Spam is most commonly known as "Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages" and members find it stressful when going through the forums to find useful content to read. We have dedicated areas where spam is permissible, and all spam must be located in those areas out of regular conversation.
• You may "NOT" impersonate any member or employee of ioMMO.
• All members "MUST" have an appropriate forum name. An appropriate forum name is a name where it does not conflict with the rules, and does not confuse other members where they would think you were an authoritarian.
• Excessive bumping of posts are not allowed. This pertains to double posting, and bumping topics older than several days that are no longer active.
• ioMMO allows members to use the community forums to trade items in games. We only have two requests. One, you must follow the rules of the game publisher. This means if they only allow you to trade on their forums, then you may use our forums to make aware other players of your interest in a trade. Two, you may not hold ioMMO accountable for any trades you make through our forums. This is at your own risk. Do not contact us saying a player scammed you.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to post irrelevancy.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to rumors or slander.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to violent comments.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to malicious acts, deeds or behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to anti-gender or sexist behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to discrimination or racial behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to religion or religious behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to sexually explicit or inappropriate behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to pornographic material of any kind.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to game style bashing.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to hacks, cheats or ingame exploits.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to advertising or promotion.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to game services using real life currency.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to trading / exchanging your ioMMO account.

With the stated rules, ioMMO wishes all members enjoy the services we provide and use it in a lawful manner. Members are solely responsible for the posts and comments they make, and ioMMO does not endorse, support, or sponsor comments or posts made in any form.

ioMMO will do it's best in moderating and managing the forums and site. Although this is a manual and live task, ioMMO cannot guarantee all posts be managed the moment they are posted. We ask that any posts or comments breaking the rules be reported to us using our Contact Us form immediately.
